All these right have been granted by the RTI Act, 2005.

Grounds to seek information under RTI Act, 2005

As a citizen, applicant under the RTI and as an information seeker, you are not required to give any reasons if you wish to seek information under the RTI Act.

The RTI Act is expected to improve the quality of decision making by the public persons, and the government with the help of removing obstacles in the path of knowing information regarding various ongoing and present programs.
